The self-awareness and personal development group is a highly effective form of therapy for people who aim to:

  • improving their interpersonal relationships
  • improving communication with other people
  • solving interpersonal problems and processing everyday challenges
  • their personal development
  • enhancing self-confidence and self-awareness

Why should I choose group therapy?

A team is a microcosm of real society as it is made up of different individuals. Within the safe environment of the group, each member has the opportunity to freely express thoughts, ideas and feelings, to listen to different ideas that may provide a solution to their problem and to better understand aspects of themselves and others. Group therapy is one of the most effective forms of therapy for people who wish to deeply process their interpersonal relationships and move toward personal growth, as it allows the person to receive feedback on their behaviors and hear many different perspectives on the issue that concerns him/her. Thus, in contrast to individual therapy, polyphony is one of the advantages of the group. Finally, group therapy is one of the most economical forms of psychotherapy as each member contributes with a very low amount. It is not necessary for the group members to have had any other contact with group therapy in the past and it does not matter if they have done or are doing personal therapy at the same time.

What else should I know about the group?

The group consists of 4-12 people who meet twice a month for an hour and a half. Each session is charged 15 euros. Members commit to attend the meetings by registering, and in case they are going to be absent, the group must be informed in advance. Also, an important obligation of everyone is to maintain the confidentiality of the identity of the other members as well as of what has been said after the end of the group.
