EFET recalls "frozen soutzouki" due to the existence of salmonella

EFET and specifically the Regional Directorate of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace, as part of the controls it carries out and in collaboration with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO), Regional Public Health Laboratory of Thessaly, carried out sampling of the frozen meat preparation "SOUTZOUKAKI 50 GR KTPS" , vacuum packed, in packages weighing approximately 500 grams, with a production date of 17/08/2015 and an expiry date of 12 months after the production date, LOT 229-042, which is produced and packaged by the company HATZIGAVRIILDIS THEMISTOKLIS S.A. "BI.KRE. SA", 7The km Kavala – Eleftheroupolis, Amisiana, with approval code GR A 131 EU.

The pathogenic microorganism was detected in the sample Salmonella spp.

EFET demanded the immediate recall/withdrawal of the entire specific batch, while the relevant checks are already underway.

Consumers who have already purchased the product in question, photo below, are asked not to consume it.
