AB Vassilopoulos recalls peanuts due to the presence of aflatoxins

"Peanuts" Recall Update

EFET, within the framework of National and Union legislation, was informed by the company "AB Vassilopoulos" about the distribution of peanuts of Chinese origin, in which the presence of aflatoxins in the raw material (raw peanut) higher than the legal limits was found.

These are the products:

1) "AB Pistachio Arabica 250g" with expiry date 12/2015 and batch numbers
L/N 0611826-1684K6, L/N 06862650K6, L/N 07062650K6,

2) "AB Pistachio Arabica 450g" with expiry date 12/2015 and batch numbers
L/N 06462580-1684K6, L/N 06862650K6 and

3) "PRIVA Arabica Roasted 80g" with expiry date 12/2015 and batch numbers
L/N 0629684K2, L/N 0689684K2.

 

The company has already started the recall/withdrawal of the above products, while the relevant controls are ongoing on the part of EFET.

 

EFET calls on consumers who are in possession of the above products (photos below) not to consume them.
