EFET: Information for recall to "chicken burger"

Chicken Burger Recall Update

E.F.E.T. and in particular the Regional Directorate of Attica, in the context of the implementation of the Program of Official Control of Microbiological Food Safety Criteria - Control for Salmonella spp. and in collaboration with the Food Testing & Research Laboratories of E.F.E.T., established the existence of unsafe food in which the pathogenic bacterium Salmonella spp. was detected.

In particular, it is the product with the trade name "High chicken burger", packaged, with production date: 03.10.2017, batch number: 27517 and expiration date: 03.10.2018. The production company is "MEATKA SA", Spata, Attica.

E.F.E.T. demanded the immediate recall / withdrawal of the entire batch in question from the internal market, while the relevant checks are ongoing.

Consumers who have purchased the product (photo) are asked not to consume it.
