 "Paris NIKAS for toast boiled from fresh pork"

EFET, after an inspection based on a complaint, carried out a sampling of boiled paris under the trade name "Paris NIKAS for toast boiled from fresh pork".

The sample was from a package weighing 3.45 kg (cane), had an expiry date of 21.6.2013, is manufactured / packaged by NIKAS ABEE, 22nd km. Athens-Lamias, Agios Stefanos. In this product, based on Laboratory Analysis, horse DNA was detected (in total DNA < 1% and > 0.1%).

E.F.E.T. demanded the immediate recall / withdrawal of the entire product in question from the company and checks continue in every direction with the aim of protecting the consumer.
