Information regarding the recall of "EXCELLENT VIRGIN OLIVE OIL"

EFET and specifically the Regional Directorate of Attica, during inspections and in cooperation with the Department of Chemical Analyzes & Organoleptic Testing of the General Secretariat of Trade & Consumer Protection, sampled Extra Virgin Olive Oil and found that, according to the organoleptic evaluation, the olive oil falls under in the "GLOWING" category and becomes inedible as is.

Specifically, it is the product "OMOSPONDIA Extra Virgin Olive Oil", 1L packaging, with lot number: LOT 1411015 and expiration date: 30/01/2016. The product is standardized by the company "Argolis, "AFOI FAKLARI S.A." (7^The km Argos – Tripoli, Argos) and carries in its packaging the details of the company "M.D. TSALOPOULOS & SIA" (Nea Magnesia, 570 22, Thessaloniki).

EFET demanded the immediate recall/withdrawal of the entire product in question from the company and the relevant checks are already underway.

E.F.E.T. invites consumers, who have purchased the above product, not to use it.
