Extraction of extra virgin olive oil

The EFET, and specifically the Regional Directorate of Attica, in collaboration with the Directorate of Agricultural Economy & Veterinary of the Regional Unit of Messinia, during the extraordinary inspections, sampled Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which was distributed by "ANASTASOPOULOS EFSTR. KON / NOS, Agricultural holdings - Packaging and storage services, D.D. FRIENDSHIP OF D. OICHALIAS » to the Social Grocery of the Municipality of Egaleo and found that, during the examination of the sample by the General Chemistry of the State, the olive oil was characterized as NORMAL - FALSE with fat foreign to the olive oil. The composition of the fatty acids indicates the presence of seed oil.

Specifically, this is a product whose distribution was made by the Social Grocery of the Municipality of Egaleo, at 4 Miltiadou Street, Davaki Square, in Egaleo, in the framework of the Food Distribution Program for Social Grocery Beneficiaries. The olive oil was distributed to the beneficiaries between December 21, 2015 until January 13, 2016, in closed transparent plastic bottles of one (1) liter, which did not have labeling elements.

Ο Ε.Φ.Ε.Τ. calls on the owners of the above product, not to consume it and to return it to the above Social Grocery, while the relevant controls are already in progress.
