EFET - Recall of "ATLANTIS" olive oil

EFET, and specifically the Regional Directorate of Central Macedonia, in the context of the controls it carries out in collaboration with the Chemical Service of Thessaloniki (Sub-Directorate of Thessaloniki - Department A') and the First Chemical Service of Athens, found that the product with the trade name "ATLANTIS", packaging of one (1) L and expiry date 31-3-2016, which is distributed by a company MARKOULAKIS EMMANUEL, with headquarters in Ionia, Thessaloniki and which is sold with the indication EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, was found to contain VEGETABLE OIL FOREIGN TO OLIVE OIL.

EFET demanded the immediate recall / withdrawal of the whole of the specific lot from the above, NORMAL – COUNTERFEIT product from the internal market and the relevant controls are already underway.

Consumers who have already purchased the above product are invited to not to consume it.
