We are living in the 21st century, the century where medicine and science are making leaps and bounds in the treatment of diseases such as cancer and AIDS. However, we are leaving aside an important and rapidly growing phenomenon, eating disorders, which have the their basis in psychology and the human mind. It's time to stop ignoring and bypassing, and start knowing and confronting.
