The EOF announces that, according to information from the competent German authorities, the PURE CAFFEINE TABS 200MG product distributed in Europe, via the Internet, are not approved, contain the medicinal substance 2,4-DINITROPHENOL and may be dangerous for the health of user.
The products may be traded in Greece via the internet. The substance 2,4-DINITROPHENOL is a highly toxic substance and is misused to burn fat. The lethal dose is 1000-3000mg. The substance accumulates. Deaths have been reported after consumption of 600mg/day for more than 4 days. Symptoms include headache, hypotension, tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmia, pulmonary edema, hyperthermia, sudden cardiac death, etc. There is no antidote available. Even despite the use of intensive intensive care, as a rule, after poisoning by a lethal dose it is not possible to save the patient's life.
The attention of consumers is drawn, so that in case they come into possession of products with the above-mentioned characteristics, they should not use them and inform the EOF immediately.
We point out again that the purchase of EOF products from non-approved sources, such as the Internet, may endanger the health of the consumer.
