Product recall "ZARGIANAKI orange juice with carbonate"

EFET and specifically the Regional Directorate of Crete, within the framework of the implementation of the Food Safety Factors Monitoring Program and in cooperation with the State General Chemistry, found the trafficking unsafe product "orangeade carbonated", which was found to contain a preservative (benzoate) in a concentration greater than the permitted one.

Specifically, it's about the product "ZARGIANAKI orange soda with carbonated water", packed 250ml with production date 11-09-2015 and date of minimum durability 12-03-2016.

The product in question is produced in Greece by the company Dimitrios Elefth. Zargianakis based in Halepa, Piscokephalou, Sitia, Crete.

EFET requested the immediate recall of the entire above batch (minimum shelf life date 12-03-2016) of the product in question and the relevant checks are already underway.

Consumers in possession of the above product (the illustration of which is shown below) are requested not to consume it.
